This summer, the residents of Wilda did not complain about boredom. In June and July, together with the Pro Posnania Foundation, we organized a series of summer events under the slogan “Summer in the Wilda”. Neighbour’s watched movies together, listened to music concerts, and even practiced gymnastics!
On Tuesday evenings in June and July, the Wildecki Market Square turned into an open-air cinema. Together, we travelled through the taste worlds of different cuisines. The leitmotif of the outdoor cinema was culinary and it was the films about cooking, meetings at the table and celebrating cooking together that were screened during Tuesday summer evenings. Each film screening was also preceded by a lecture, during which the participants could learn more about the initiative and the main idea behind the creation of this event. The series of evening screenings turned out to be a great opportunity to strengthen neighbourly ties and local meetings, in which the inhabitants of Wilda were so eager to participate.
